Botanical and Flower Water colours
My love of nature and especially the beauty and colours of flowers mean a lot to me.
I am amazed at not only the textures but the strength and fragility of each individual petal of the flower heads, but the shape and forms within the whole.
The flowers I draw and paint are mainly from my own garden or windowsill as I wish to paint them from real life. I prefer to use watercolours to be able to try to capture the delicacy of the individual parts of the plant especially the petals.
